Medinah Country Club - PGA Ryder Cup
During Meghan's time on the Ryder Cup 2012 Staff she worked solely on the Captain's Challenge. Organizing and planning the event from the ground up after the tickets had been sold out by the PGA of America. She was the liaison for the participants, the PGA, Rich Harvest Farms and Medinah Country Club. Her responsibilities ranged from ordering uniforms, finalizing menus, room decor, room set up and tear down, ticket and informational packet design, check in and much more. All duties and responsibilities contributed to an amazing event that went off without a hitch.
During the actual Ryder Cup Tournament, Meghan ran a viewing suit that was located on the 16th green of Course 3, the Championship Course, at Medinah. She was responsible for 100 paying VIP guests, 3 volunteers that switched throughout the day, one PGA intern and one security guard each day of play. Meghan managed all workers while ensuring a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all guests at this amazing event.
